2 Kronieken 10:14

SV	En hij sprak tot hen naar den raad der jongelingen, zeggende: Mijn vader heeft uw juk zwaar gemaakt, maar ik zal nog daarboven toedoen; mijn vader heeft u met geselen gekastijd, maar ik [zal u] met schorpioenen [kastijden].
WLC	וַיְדַבֵּ֣ר אֲלֵהֶ֗ם כַּעֲצַ֤ת הַיְלָדִים֙ לֵאמֹ֔ר אַכְבִּיד֙ אֶֽת־עֻלְּכֶ֔ם וַאֲנִ֖י אֹסִ֣יף עָלָ֑יו אָבִ֗י יִסַּ֤ר אֶתְכֶם֙ בַּשֹּׁוטִ֔ים וַאֲנִ֖י בָּעֲקְרַבִּֽים׃
Trans.	wayəḏabēr ’ălēhem k^a‘ăṣaṯ hayəlāḏîm lē’mōr ’aḵəbîḏ ’eṯ-‘ulləḵem wa’ănî ’ōsîf ‘ālāyw ’āḇî yissar ’eṯəḵem baššwōṭîm wa’ănî bā‘ăqərabîm:

AC	יד וידבר אלהם כעצת הילדים לאמר אכביד את עלכם ואני אסיף עליו אבי יסר אתכם בשוטים ואני בעקרבים
ASV	and spake to them after the counsel of the young men, saying, My father made your yoke heavy, but I will add thereto: my father chastised you with whips, but I [will chastise you] with scorpions.
BE	But gave them the answer put forward by the young men, saying, My father made your yoke hard, but I will make it harder; my father gave you punishment with whips, but I will give it with snakes.
Darby	and spoke to them according to the advice of the young men, saying, My father made your yoke heavy, but I will add to it; my father chastised you with whips, but I [will chastise you] with scorpions.
ELB05	und redete zu ihnen nach dem Rate der Jungen und sprach: Mein Vater hat euer Joch schwer gemacht, ich aber will zu demselben hinzutun; mein Vater hat euch mit Geißeln gezüchtigt, ich aber will euch mit Skorpionen züchtigen.
LSG	et leur parla ainsi d'après le conseil des jeunes gens: Mon père a rendu votre joug pesant, et moi je le rendrai plus pesant; mon père vous a châtiés avec des fouets, et moi je vous châtierai avec des scorpions.
Sch	und redete mit ihnen nach dem Rat der Jungen und sprach: Hat mein Vater euer Joch schwer gemacht, so will ich es noch schwerer machen! Hat mein Vater euch mit Geißeln gezüchtigt, so will ich euch mit Skorpionen züchtigen!
Web	And answered them after the advice of the young men, saying, My father made your yoke heavy, but I will add to it; my father chastised you with whips, but I will chastise you with scorpions.
